Copper and labradorite necklace with cat detail.
Each pendant is lovingly hand forged from copper sheet over many hours. The shape is hand sawn, stone setting soldered into place, filed and sanded, coated with a patina and finally set with a labradorite stone. The pendant is then hung on a copper coated brass rolo chain.
The chain measures approximately 45cm. If you would prefer a 60cm chain, please leave a note at checkout.
The pendant measures approximately 3cm in length.
The cat symbolises curiosity, patience, independence, and courage with associations with mystery and magic, and resurrection due to their nine lives.
A stone of transformation, Labradorite can be helpful when going through times of change. It encourages perseverance, protects the aura, protects against negativity, aids psychic intuition, and grounds energies.
Copper is often considered a healing metal, as a conductor and magnifier of energy. It can help clear out negative energy, balance emotions, and conduct positive thoughts, especially when paired with gemstones.
This item is made from copper and will naturally oxidise over time.
Avoid moist environments where possible, such as in the shower.
To prolong the life of the patina, it has been coated with a clear lacquer.
Under heavy wear this lacquer may need to be reapplied. Any clear lacquer suitable for use on metal will work. Everbrite Protectaclear is recommended.
